yearbook camp is around the corner.

Monday is the start of journalism camp. 

Yes, there is such thing.  

It’s actually pretty cool. High school yearbook and newspaper teams from all over the state of Virginia, get together and we attend different seminars, lectures. We also participate in group activities that help us prepare for the upcoming school year’s journalism cycle. This is where we get fresh ideas on news stories, yearbook layouts, themes and so forth. After a week of yearbook camp, our newspaper committee will go back to Ridgeview, and decide on the layout and theme of the newspaper and yearbook. 

I love journalism. 

It’s so exciting, fresh, and new. 

Especially at Ridgeview Vista. 

There is always scandals and obscure situations that are rip for publication.
